Hansa and St. Pauli
One of the fiercest rivalries in German football since their very first meeting in 1993. Pauli's left-wing attitude and nationalistic tendencies amongst parts of the Hansa fan scene seemed to "connect" immediately.
Sold out ghost game in Dresden
Because of riots during a cup tie, Dynamo Dresden had to play a league game behind closed doors. Despite the ban, the second division outfit started to offer tickets to the fans. This proved a resounding success: Dynamo announced that they sold any of the 32,066 available "ghost tickets" (which equals the stadium's capacity).
Football beneath the tower
Stuttgarter Kickers are the German club that plays for the longest time in the same stadium. And most likely the only one doing so at the foot of a TV tower.
Chairman on the terrace
For a couple of years now, Schalkes de facto chairman Clemens Tönnies prefers to attend the annual Revierderby in Dortmund with fellow supporters on the terrace. The last meeting has seen smoke and fireworks coming from the away end. And Tönnies starting to take photos of the troublemakers.

Knocked out Referee: The Luisão Situation
In a Fortuna Düsseldorf v Benfica friendly this afternoon, the ref got knocked out by Benfica skipper Luisão. The incident has not been that easy to evaluate, the game however was instantly abandoned after Christian Fischer came round.
So it's up to you: Malicious attack or simply the worst performance by an actor in a supporting role?
